Phase II SBIR award with Fast Track / News & Events
February 22, 2009
Dignitas Technologies has been awarded a Phase II SBIR entitled “High Fidelity Runtime Database Engine”. This effort includes matching funds to allow a Fast Track award, and complements a Phase I option award earlier this year. RDECOM-STTC is the awarding government agency and Julio de la Cruz is the government COR. Dignitas Technologies is joined by Applied Research Associates (ARA) as a subcontractor on this effort. This contract will continue Dignitas’ Phase I work in conducting research into high-resolution terrain skin and natural feature representations based upon the company’s extensive experience with live, virtual, and constructive terrain database formats. This Phase II effort will seek to support hand-held, embedded, and C4I devices with terrain services and terrain formats to enhance functionality available on processing-limited platforms.
