Charlie Ragusa / Selected Staff
Software Engineer
Mr. Ragusa’s education includes a B.S. in Computer Science, and he currently has over 9 years of experience in the modeling and simulation field. Much of his time has been spent on internally funded (SAIC) and directly funded (USMC, US Army, US Coast Guard Academy, NASA/NSBRI) research and development efforts. The small-team nature of these projects has given him exposure to (and hands-on experience with) a broad range of technologies including: Robotics (2006 DARPA Grand Challenge), HLA/DIS & LVC Interoperability, Virtual Simulation (CDT), Constructive Simulation (OTB & OneSAF), Serious Games (VBS2), Tank Gunnery (Steel Beasts), I/O Hardware & Software, Visual Systems, Java & C++ Programming, and Synthetic Natural Environment. Over the course of his career, Mr. Ragusa has served in a variety of roles and capacities, ranging from software developer, system engineer & integration lead, to technical lead and program manager.
Key Experiences:
- Dignitas Technologies (6/2009 – Present): Senior Software Engineer
- SAIC (2001 – 2009): Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Program Manager
- Perficient (2000 – 2001): IT Consultant
- SAIC (1999 – 2000): Intern & Software Engineer
