About Us
Dignitas Technologies, LLC, was formed in 2004 to provide high quality engineering services to the modeling and simulation community. The company’s founder, Mr. Jon Watkins, has been in modeling and simulation community since 1990, with a specific focus on Computer Generated Forces, virtual simulation, and terrain databases. Originally focused on individual consulting, the company redirected toward broader activities in early 2008. Since then, Dignitas has grown from 1 person (the owner) to more than 17 employees. Dignitas Technologies leads several SBIR projects and supports a wide range of programs spanning live, virtual, and constructive domains.
Dignitas Technologies provides embedded personnel in key roles with several large programs including SE Core A&I, SE Core DVED, and HITS. In addition, our facility near UCF hosts staff leading or supporting a variety of SBIR and research programs.
Despite its small size, Dignitas Technologies personnel support or lead a wide range of programs. We are involved in both large (SE Core A&I) and small (SBIR) programs spanning live, virtual, and constructive programs. We provide critical staff in support of activities ranging from database production to OneSAF behaviors to live training architectures.
We pride ourselves on a strong technical focus across the company. In fact, all of our full-time staff has direct software development experience. Our present personnel offer an average of 12 years of experience specifically in modeling and simulation.
